Life on Lake Johku
A 90-minute hands-on visit where pupils sit at old school desks, write in copperplate, identify fell lichens and try a log driver's pike pole. Designed for grades 3–6; for lower secondary we focus on log driving and livelihoods.
Practical details
- During school terms Tue–Fri at 9:00, 11:00 and 13:00 (not June–August)
- €6 per pupil, minimum 10 pupils (€60). Teachers and assistants free.
- Up to 30 pupils per programme.
- The form asks for school, grade, number of pupils, billing details and special needs.
- We send preparation material to the teacher a week before the visit.
